Teeter-Totter
His behind ached, “You are a pain!”
The reply, “So are you!”
“I know you are but what am I?”
Neither child had a clue
Both fought to be preeminent
And bring the other down
The children seesawed back and forth
Until one hit the ground
He fell off and the other laughed
Elation was short lived
For down again the dimwit came
His memory like a sieve
