Evaporation occurs

On a clearly global scale

The oceans yield substantial mass

But rivers do as well

Both streams and brooks

And pooling nooks

Give up their tithe to heaven

Yet even rain

Performs the same

And clouds themselves they leaven

So too a soul is fed by life

Reconstituting soul

In motive, thought, emotion

All of these bear some control

In actions, choices, history

And even circumstance

All these reshape volition

Acquisition more than chance
