Compulsion
A miser starves his needs
Thus increasing his desire
For money that he hoards
Suppresses commerce in his ire
The statesman lusts for power
Just to increase his control
And yet to gain this favor
He would gladly sell his soul
The priest wants God’s approval
And tortures his own flesh
Defacing Life’s creation
Through ambition that he wrests
The imbalance of compulsion
Thus, is born of twisted need
These empty holes we try to fill
By digging more indeed
The elegance of balance
Then is born of subtle moves
Correcting with composure
Equilibrium improves
