All that one attempts to gain through lies
They shall but lose
Dishonesty cannot transport the soul
To blissful truth
For lies to gain acceptance
Inadvertently create
The distance which rapport cannot traverse
For such is fake
And lies to protect ego
Shall a chasm excavate
Which self-love cannot bridge
Over the gulf of truths we hate
Thus, lies for praise erect the walls
Honor can’t penetrate
This envelope we push by lying tongue
Shall seal our fate
