Opening Up

Came like the voice of thunder

Ringing through my mind as under

A mental shroud

Like a flash it rip asunder

Spilling light through pillar under

The parting clouds

Once upon a time I paced the room

Waiting for a light to pierce the gloom

When love opened up my eyes

Out from the grasp of slumber

Freedom to run from under

The shadows now

Sown in a world of wonder

Animation thriving under

The solar power

Darkness like a smoke had filled the tomb

Then love went out on a spread wing

And opened up my eyes

Viewed the blossoming life

Watched the season change

Breathed the air outside

For times runs out on a watch spring

So take it to the sky

Catch the feeling of flight 

Feel the weightlessness

Of a natural high

When I had turned inside me

You came and drew me out

So there's no hiding now

For love goes out on a spread wing

View the blossoming life

Watch the seasons change

Breathe the air outside
